Not everyone is called to walk a straight path.

Some of us find ourselves standing in the spaces between what was and what will be. Between the life we once knew and the life that is trying to emerge. Between certainty and mystery. Between endings and beginnings.

For me, Crow has always been a guide in those places.

Across many cultures, Crow is associated with intelligence, transformation, messages, mystery, and the ability to move between worlds. Crow is comfortable in places that feel uncertain to humans. It knows how to navigate change, how to find opportunity in the unexpected, and how to see what others might overlook.

Over the years, I have come to understand Crow Medicine not simply as a symbol, but as a teacher.

What Does It Mean to Walk Between Worlds?

People often imagine “walking between worlds” as something dramatic or supernatural.

My experience has been much simpler and much more human.

Walking between worlds is what happens when a chapter of your life ends before the next one has fully begun.

It is the space between careers.

The space between relationships.

The space between identities.

The space between who you have been and who you are becoming.

Most people encounter these thresholds many times throughout their lives.

The challenge is that we are often taught to rush through them.

We want answers immediately.

We want certainty.

We want to know where we are going.

Yet some of life’s greatest transformations happen in the waiting.

The threshold itself becomes the teacher.

The Dream That Changed Everything

Several years into my healing practice, Crow Medicine entered my life through a powerful dream.

At the time, I was already working with Reiki, the Akashic Records, and clients who were navigating significant life changes. Yet this dream felt different.

It carried a sense of invitation.

A calling.

An understanding that there was another layer to the work that wanted to emerge.

After that experience, Crow began appearing repeatedly in unexpected ways. Through synchronicities, teachings, client sessions, meditations, and ceremonies, the symbolism continued to unfold.

Eventually, Crow Medicine became the inspiration for a series of Full Moon gatherings where participants were guided into the Akashic Records for healing, reflection, and transformation.

What began as a dream became a pathway.

The Keeper of the Keys

One of the teachings that emerged through this work was the idea of being a Keeper of the Keys.

To me, this does not mean holding power over others.

It means holding doors.

It means helping people access places within themselves that they may have forgotten.

A key does not force a door open.

It simply creates the possibility.

Each person must still choose whether they wish to walk through.

In many ways, this has become the foundation of my work.

I do not believe healing is something that can be done to another person.

I believe healing happens when people are given the opportunity to reconnect with their own wisdom, strength, and capacity for transformation.

My role is simply to help them find the door.

Why Crow Appears During Times of Change

One of the most common experiences people share with me is that Crow seems to appear when life feels uncertain.

When a relationship ends.

When a job changes.

When an old identity no longer fits.

When a person begins asking deeper questions about purpose and meaning.

Crow does not necessarily arrive to provide answers.

Often, Crow arrives to remind us that we are capable of finding them.

The appearance of Crow can be a reminder that something is shifting, something is ending, or something new is trying to emerge.

Not every change is comfortable.

Not every threshold is easy.

Yet every threshold contains possibility.

The Sacred Space Between

Much of my work today takes place in what I think of as the sacred space between.

Between fear and trust.

Between insight and healing.

Between the soul and the life it is trying to create.

This is where Akashic Reiki was born.

This is where many of the teachings I share have emerged.

This is where people often discover that they are not broken, lost, or blocked.

They are simply standing at a threshold.

Learning how to become someone new.

Walking Your Own Path

You do not need to understand every symbol, sign, or synchronicity to benefit from Crow Medicine.

You do not need to call yourself spiritual.

You do not need to know exactly where you are going.

You only need a willingness to listen.

Sometimes the next step becomes visible only after we stop demanding to see the entire path.

Crow teaches us to trust the journey.

To remain curious.

To stay open to possibility.

And to remember that even when we find ourselves standing between worlds, we are never truly lost.

We are becoming.
