Have you ever reached the end of the day feeling completely exhausted, even though you didn’t really accomplish very much?
You weren’t digging ditches.
You weren’t climbing mountains.
You may not have even left the house.
Yet somehow you’re drained.
I don’t think it’s because we do too much.
I think it’s because we try to live in too many places at once.
Part of us is replaying yesterday.
Another part is worrying about tomorrow.
Another is imagining every possible outcome of a conversation that hasn’t even happened yet.
Another is carrying someone else’s emotions.
Another is trying to rescue everyone we love.
Meanwhile, our body is standing in the kitchen trying to make a piece of toast.
No wonder we’re tired.
Energy Is Meant To Live In One Place
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned through the Akashic Records is that our energy was never meant to be scattered across dozens of timelines all at once.
When we divide our attention, we divide our presence.
And when we divide our presence, we begin to lose ourselves.
We stop feeling like ourselves.
We become reactive instead of responsive.
We lose our centre.
Many people think they’re experiencing a lack of energy.
I often think they’re experiencing a lack of their own energy.
How We Split Ourselves
Sometimes we give our energy away without realizing it.
We replay old conversations over and over.
We imagine arguments that never happen.
We worry about people we can’t control.
We scroll through frightening headlines until our nervous system believes the whole world is unsafe.
We spend hours imagining futures that don’t exist yet.
Little by little, pieces of us wander off.
Eventually we wonder why we don’t feel whole anymore.
Calling Yourself Home
When I notice this happening, I don’t try to force myself into a higher vibration.
I simply begin calling myself home.
Sometimes that begins with one simple question:
Where am I?
Not physically.
Energetically.
Am I still living in yesterday?
Am I already living in next week?
Am I carrying someone else’s worries?
Am I trying to solve problems that aren’t mine?
Every time I notice another piece of my attention wandering, I gently invite it back.
Not with judgment.
With compassion.
The Most Powerful Spiritual Practice I Know
People often assume the most advanced spiritual practices involve travelling farther into the unseen world.
Ironically, I’ve discovered the opposite.
The most powerful spiritual practice I know is becoming completely present.
Feeling my feet on the floor.
Taking a slow breath.
Making a pot of tea.
Watching the birds outside my window.
Listening to the rain.
Calling someone I love.
Cooking dinner.
Lighting a candle.
These things don’t take me away from Spirit.
They bring me closer to it.
Because Spirit has always met me most easily when I am fully present in my own life.
Walking Both Worlds
For years I believed spiritual growth meant learning how to fly.
Now I think it means learning how to fly and land.
To explore the mysteries of Spirit while remaining deeply rooted in the Earth.
To walk between worlds without becoming lost in either one.
Every time we call our scattered energy home, we become a little more whole.
A little more grounded.
A little more ourselves.
And something remarkable begins to happen.
The intuition becomes clearer.
The guidance becomes quieter but stronger.
The synchronicities begin appearing again.
Not because we chased them.
Because we became present enough to notice them.
You Don’t Have To Chase Yourself Anymore
If you’ve been feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or unlike yourself, perhaps your energy isn’t gone.
Perhaps it’s simply waiting for you to gather it back together.
You don’t have to live in yesterday.
You don’t have to solve tomorrow.
You don’t have to carry everyone else’s world.
Come back to this moment.
Come back to your breath.
Come back to your body.
Come back to the Earth.
Come back to yourself.
Sometimes the greatest act of healing isn’t finding more energy.
It’s simply remembering where you left it.
A Gentle Invitation
If this article resonated with you, keep an eye out for my upcoming companion resource, You’re Not Blocked—You’ve Shifted Dimensions. It includes a dimensional shift checksheet, grounding meditation, visual grounding circuit, and practical exercises to help you gather your energy, reconnect with yourself, and learn to walk both worlds with confidence.
And if your energy has been scattered for a long time, you don’t have to gather it alone. Through Akashic Reiki, Akashic Records readings, and spiritual mentoring, I help people reconnect with themselves and find their way home again.
