The Heart Is the Portal
Why I Enter the Akashic Records Through the Heart
People often ask me what it feels like to enter the Akashic Records.
Do I leave my body?
Do I travel somewhere?
Do I see a giant library in the sky?
The honest answer is…
It’s much quieter than that.
Before every Akashic Records session, I follow the same process.
I ground deeply into the Earth.
I become present in my body.
I allow my nervous system to settle.
Then something beautiful happens.
I bring my awareness into my heart.
Not my mind.
Not my imagination.
My heart.
As the heart begins to expand, I invite the Akashic field into it.
And then…
we travel.

Understanding the Journey from Survival to the Heart
We Don’t Leave the Body
One of the biggest misconceptions about spirituality is that we have to escape our humanity in order to reach something higher.
My experience has been the opposite.
The more present I become in my body…
the easier it becomes to access spiritual wisdom.
The Earth anchors me.
The body steadies me.
The breath calms me.
The heart opens.
The Records become available.
It isn’t an escape.
It’s a deeper arrival.
Why the Heart?
People often ask why I don’t simply visualize the Records with my mind.
Because the mind collects information.
The heart recognizes truth.
The mind compares.
The heart resonates.
The mind analyzes.
The heart knows.
That doesn’t mean we stop thinking.
It means we stop letting thought lead every part of the experience.
The heart becomes the meeting place where intuition, compassion, wisdom, and presence work together.

A Different Kind of Seeing
When I enter the Akashic Records, it is a bit like I’m watching a movie.
And a bit like stepping into a conversation.
Images arise.
Symbols appear.
Sometimes I feel emotions that don’t belong to me.
Sometimes a single picture explains more than an hour of talking ever could.
A bridge.
A feather.
An old key.
A child.
A garden.
A wall.
The heart seems perfectly comfortable with symbols.
It has always spoken that language.
The Heart Doesn’t Judge
One of the reasons I love working this way is that the heart approaches people differently than the mind does.
The mind asks,
“What’s wrong?”
The heart asks,
“What happened?”
The mind asks,
“How do we fix this?”
The heart asks,
“What is trying to heal?”
That shift changes everything.
People stop becoming problems.
They become stories waiting to be understood.
Higher Consciousness Isn’t Somewhere Else
When people hear the phrase higher consciousness, they often imagine going upward.
Floating away.
Leaving ordinary life behind.
It feels a bit like that.
To me, higher consciousness feels more like becoming deeply coherent.
My body is here.
My breath is here.
My awareness is here and there.
My heart is open.
From that place, guidance becomes easier to recognize.
Because I have become quiet enough to listen.
The Heart Is a Bridge
Throughout this series we’ve talked about the heart as a healer…
a protector…
a guide…
and the home of gratitude.
Today I’d like to add one more description.
The heart is a bridge.
It connects the Earth and Spirit.
The body and the soul.
The human story and the larger story.
The visible and the invisible.
That is why I don’t try to bypass the heart.
I begin there.

Why Spiritual Awakening Isn’t About Escaping the Body — It’s About Fully Entering It
Anyone Can Learn to Listen
One of the things I love most about this work is that I don’t believe the heart is special because I’m a practitioner.
I believe every person has this capacity.
You may not call it the Akashic Records.
You may call it intuition.
Inner knowing.
Prayer.
Stillness.
Discernment.
The name isn’t the important part.
The important part is learning to become quiet enough to hear what the heart has been saying all along.
Coming Home
Every Akashic Records session reminds me of something I never want to forget.
The doorway to spiritual wisdom isn’t somewhere far away.
It isn’t hidden behind years of complicated study.
It isn’t reserved for a chosen few.
The doorway has been with us since the beginning.
It beats quietly in our chest.
Waiting patiently.
Not asking us to become someone different.
Simply inviting us to become fully present.
Perhaps that’s why I always begin in the same place.
Feet on the Earth.
Breath slowing.
Heart opening.
Because the greatest journeys I’ve ever taken…
have all begun without taking a single step.

The Heart Knows Before the Mind
We’ll explore why your body and heart often recognize truth long before your logical mind can explain it, and how learning to trust that quiet inner resonance can transform decision-making, relationships, and spiritual discernment.
